Lorenzo Cerutti-Serra (PhD Student) carried out a research internship at The Elk Crew Group at the University of Graz, Austria. The stay took place under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Melanie Hall, within a leading academic environment in the field of Biocatalysis.
During his stay, Lorenzo worked on a research project focused on evaluating the catalytic promiscuity of enzymes. In particular, the project addressed the development of biocatalyzed photodehalogenation processes.
This experience not only strengthened the researcher’s scientific training, but also consolidated international collaborative ties, reaffirming LUMEN-Lab’s commitment to global outreach and the development of emerging research areas.
